The regular season is all done and we’re left with 14 teams looking to fight it out for a spot at the Super Bowl in San Francisco on February 8th (A friendly reminder to book the 9th off work, as I did today).
It has been one of the weirder seasons I can remember, and honestly I have no idea who’s going to make it to the big game, who is good and who isn’t. I have been on the Rams since about halfway through the season and they’ll be happy to get Davante Adams back at some point. The Seahawks get the 1 seed and the bye week but I’m not sure they’re THAT good, although defense wins championships. It’s the defense leading the way on the AFC as well with the Broncos securing the 1 seed thanks to their elite-level defense, leaning to those thoughts it might be the Texans. IF I was going to be going out on a limb now I’d say Rams vs someone on the AFC… Yeah, really sticking my neck out there, I honestly think it could be any of the 7 on that side of things. Except the Steelers, obviously.
I will, of course, be doing my previews throughout the playoffs starting with the double-header on Saturday night this weekend, but before those games kick-off I’m going to set up a Picks contest on Runyourpool.com (the site I’ve used each time I’ve done this) – It will be a “Precision Pick” pool, each week you pick each game Against the Spread (correct is 10 points) as well as the Total points you think will be in that match. If you’re bang on the total it’s 10 points and you lose a 1 for every point you are away from the total, (a minimum of 0 points, you won’t get a minus if you’re over 10 points away), so there’s 20 points on the table for every match.
It looks like I’ve managed to get this sorted. RYP have been taken over by Splash and got rid of the precision pick pool, BUT I have been able to renew a previous contract, had a few testers and it looks like it is all working. I’ll send an invite and you’ll have to create an entry to make picks

After thinking about it for a bit longer. I will probably set up a concurrent pick league on Splash on the off chance that the restarted league for some reason messes up. The standard pick contest on Splash is ATS spread only. But they would have to do if things go wrong.
