So finished last weekend a little down after a decent Sunday, in particular the Redskins match, despite them losing pretty convincingly in the end, Jordan Reed got his usual TD to return a nice amount.
This week sees the Chiefs visit the Patriots in what promises to be a strangely intriguing match, the Chiefs made it 11 in a row last week, and the Patriots are still banged up with injuries, and players returning to action.
Really not sure on who’s going to win to be honest, as I think it could go either way, it should be the Patriots at home, but I’m not willing to tip it. – I am going to take a punt on Chris Conley anytime, with Maclin missing through injury Travis Kelce caught for nearly 120 yards last week, but the Patriots have had the week to prepare and are experts at shutting down a teams main weapon, so that could open the door for Conley.
On the Patriots side, even banged up they’ve got quite a lot of options, none of which jump out at me, and reportedly Gronk has been carrying an injury all week, add that to Edelman and Amendola still not 100% fit, and going up against probably the best Defence in the league at present, i’m giving them all a miss (They’ll probably all score now!)
Spencer Ware anytime TD @ 11/10 (2pt)
Chris Conley anytime TD @ 2/1 (1pt) – over 37.5yards @ 5/6 (1pt)
Special teams / Defensive TD scored @ 13/8 (1pt)
The later match for Saturday sees the “reinvigorated” Green Bay packers go to the Cardinals – The Cardinals absolutely destroyed them in their division meeting earlier in the year, hitting the QB on 10 occasions, and racking up a lot of scores. While I don’t think it’ll happen again to that extent, I still think the Cardinals are potential Superbowl winners, so i’ve got to side with them.
David Johnson has been great since coming in as the main RB, their WRs are all very good, Fitzgerald, Floyd, Brown, JJ Nelson at a push. and Carson Palmer is probably the best looking passer in the league.
The Packers last week looked back to a functional unit for the first time in a while with Lacy and Starks both moving the ball easily, and Randall Cobb putting in a game too.
Cardinals to win both halves @ 6/4 (1pt)
JJ Nelson anytime TD @ 3/1 (1pt)
David Johnson anytime @ 3/5 (2pt) 2 or more @ 4/1 (1pt)
over 47.5 Total points @ 10/11 (2 pts Skybet)
Spencer Ware anytime and David Johnson anytime double @ 2.36 (1pt)
Conley and Nelson anytime double @ 11/1 (0.5pt)
11.5 pt outlay
