Every week Andy will put up a big odds Treble that he thinks has a decent chance of landing, this is week 1s.
Andy B’s Three Way – Week 1
The Season is upon us, and the volume of possible wagers is plain to see. Here I look at a three way accumulator for Week 1 action
Oakland Raiders Touchdowns.
Matching up vs the Saints this week, Derrick Carr and co take their talented and emerging team into New Orleans. The Saints yielded 476 points last year and despite 2 of their first 3 draft picks this year (Sheldon Rankin and Vonn Bell) and notable free agent signings James Laurinitis and Nick Fairley adding to the Defense I believe they are a further cycle of upgrades away from a mid pack unit.
The Raiders come into the game having given up 1 sack in 3 preseason games, Derrick Carr showing the arm talent he was drafted for, Amari Cooper showing his pro bowl level talent and have a Defense capable of keeping the offense on the field.
The Saints run a 4-3 defense with press man coverage from 2 sophomore corners. Expect Carr to extend the field deep to keep both safeties deep which should enable the run to be established early. New Orleans offense will put up points and I expect this to need 35+ from Oakland to bring home the victory.
Recommend OAK Over 3 13/8
Cleveland Points Band
What to say about the Browns, elite Corner Back, fragile QB and a star Wide Receiver high as a kite. A team in perennial transition which I expect to see flashes of brilliance intertwined with abject average play.
Recommend Total points – 0-20 points 16/1
Vikings @ Titans. Team to lead after every quarter.
Minnesota’s Season took a very real step back this week with the loss of Teddy Bridgewater, I expect this week to be a real struggle, seeing the Titans making a fast start and even with APs best efforts not seeing a lead all game.
Recommend Titans 4/1
Recommended – 2pt Treble –
- Oakland over 3 tds
- Cleveland to score between 0-20 pts
- Titans to lead every quarter
